What is A Parole Packet?
A collection of documents that an inmate of their family submits to the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to support the inmate's release on parole. A well-prepared parole packet can significantly improve an inmate's chances of being granted parole.
The Importance of a Parole Packet

It is recommended to begin the process about a year before the inmate's parole eligibility date.
